GRI Certified Training Program

CSRCP received a training license for delivering GRI-certified training in Pakistan in 2015. However, the GRI Certified Training Program license was surrendered in 2019 due to weak market demand for GRI Training.

Course description

The GRI Certified Training Program enables participants to coordinate the sustainability reporting process. Participants obtain an overview of the process, develop insight into actions required for report preparation, and become aware of the potential challenges and benefits of sustainability reporting. This training is based on the GRI Sustainability Reporting Standard and GRI Certified Training Material and is demonstrated using practical examples, especially local cases. The discussions on trends in sustainability reporting update participants on current developments in sustainability. The interactive sessions, case studies, and group exercises, coupled with best practices, augment the quality of the training and make it a valuable investment of time and resources.

To advance this strategy, the GRI certifies organizations as official training partners. CSRCP remained a GRI-certified training partner in Pakistan.

Course objective

Training participants in the process of sustainability reporting based on the GRI Standards.
Strengthening the understanding of sustainability reports as a valuable communication tool for an organization’s internal management.
Informing participants on the efficient use of GRI Standards for internal and external communication.
Developing methods to increase transparency, credibility, and the quality of information in Sustainability Reports.
Developing an understanding of assurance of sustainability reports and best practices in sustainability assurance.
Developing an understanding of Materiality in sustainability reporting.
Training participants in applying quality principles defined by the GRI Standards, emphasising the principles of stakeholder inclusiveness and materiality.
Disseminating knowledge through examples and best practices.
Providing a forum for interaction among participants for exchange of ideas and experiences
